STRIEBIG
RAISES ITS STANDARDS WITH TWO NEW MODELS

The
Striebig Standard, for decades the top selling
model in the Swiss manufacturer's vertical panel
saw range, is being replaced by two new vastly
upgraded machines to be unveiled at Ligna.
Both
versions, built on proven solutions for panel
sizing, guarantee dust limit values well below
1mg/m3.
The
new Standard TRK2 is available in nine frame sizes
for handling panels up to 5300 x 2240mm.
Among
the many improvements are the additions of a power
supply via a flexible chain duct for increased
safety, and a moving support frame fitted with
a newly developed and optimised bearing system
for smoother movement and further increased reliability.
To
improve the saw's effectiveness still further,
options include the incorporation of the new fourth
generation Digital Measuring System, support rollers
that brake pneumatically, and a wooden small work
piece support that extends throughout the full
length of the machine. These are features only
previously available with Striebig's top-of-the-range
Evolution and Control models.
The
same improvements and options are available with
the Standard TRK1, which is available in the same
nine frame sizes.
In
addition, the Standard TRK1 can be further upgraded
with the option of an improved dust extraction
system. This is for applications where fine dust
must be reduced to an absolute minimum, such as
in home improvement and DIY stores.
Both
new models, which can be wall-mounted or freestanding,
have a cutting depth of 80mm. They are suitable
for cutting practically all sheet material, including
MDF, plaster board, plastics and aluminium panels.
High
safety standards and ergonomically positioned
controls are features of Striebig's highly advanced
design technology, making the new-look Standard
exceptionally easy to operate and safe to use,
minimising operator fatigue and avoiding costly
errors.
