The
re-designed Striebig Compact vertical panel
saw sets new standards for ease of use. |
The
combination of a redesigned control panel, saw
head housing and saw head operating mechanism
means that the Compact is now even easier to use.
In particular, it's much simpler to saw small
pieces due to the addition of medium and small
work piece supports extending along the full length
of the machine.
In
a major improvement to the Compact's environmental
features, an additional TRK dust extraction point
has been fitted within the horizontal cutting
area. The highly efficient integral dust and chips
extraction system ensures that dust levels are
kept well below permitted European limits.
Compact
saws are available with a maximum cut size of
3100 x 1644mm and 4600 x 2070mm, plus the new
larger model. All three saws have a cutting depth
of 60mm
They
will be shown alongside the Standard II, one of
the most popular models in the Striebig range.
It comes with a choice of nine frame sizes, two
frame types, two motor sizes and three extraction
systems.
Also
from Striebig will be the top-of-the-range fully
automatic Control and the manual Evolution, which
represent the very latest in vertical panel saw
technology.
Numerous
technical features considered expensive optional
extras in other saws are included as standard.
They include a digital measuring system, accurate
to 0.1 mm, and an adjustable precision display
that can be set to an accuracy of 1.0, 0.5 or
0.1 mm, according to the thickness of the panels
being sized.
Both
models, which have a cutting depth of 80mm, have
a robust saw frame, a fully automatic roller locking
function, an auxiliary stop section with its own
tape measure, three additional auxiliary stops
for repeat cuts and a small work piece support.
Also
fitted as standard is the TRK dust and chips extraction
system and automatic moving backing support.
They
come in a variety of frame sizes with cutting
areas ranging from 3,300mm x 1,680mm up to 5,300mm
x 2,240mm, allowing them to take the largest size
panels.
Among
the host of optional features to enhance performance
and increase output are an integral scoring saw
with pneumatic return that cuts smooth edges on
even the toughest of materials, a programmable
electronic positioning system that can store up
to 400 vertical positions to cut down on set-up
time, an angle-cutting unit and a depth stop for
grooving jobs.
Striebig
saws are designed to cut practically all materials,
such as MDF, plaster board, plastics and aluminium
panels. They can be wall-mounted or freestanding.
New
from Timesavers-Sandingmaster, specialists in
wide belt sanders, is the budget- priced, entry-level
