MACHINERY MOVES TO LARGER PREMISES
T.M.
Machinery Sales Ltd, UK agents for Striebig vertical
panel saws, Timesavers- Sandingmaster wide belt
sanders and Al-Ko mobile dust extraction units,
has moved To larger premises in Leicester, supporting
its expansion plans. The two-storey building contains
more storage space for new machines, a larger
spare Parts warehouse, a bigger area for machine
repair and refurbishment and greater office space.
Since the company, which is part of the T.M. Group,
was formed in 1997 its staffing Level has increased
to 11, which includes six engineers who cover
the UK. The latest recruit is former Wadkin employee
Paul Woodford, who has joined the team as an in-house
engineer, specialising in machine refurbishment
work.

“Our
distribution, storage and repair facilities used
to be some distance from head office, says sales
co-ordinator Matthew Pearce. “Now that we have
consolidated everything under one roof it will
provide room for us to grow and take a greater
share of the UK woodworking machinery market.
We have already recruited more staff and have
plans to expand still further in the future.”
The company will be present at Woodmex in November
where it will launch some New and exciting models
from Striebig and Al-Ko and demonstrate machines
from the popular Sandingmaster range.
